There are several other daily shuttle services that can pick you up from Halifax (right from where you are staying) and drop you off right at the hostel. Nelson's shuttle, or Kathleen's Shuttle are some of them.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING 1.Please note we can only accept cash payment on arrival. 2.Photo id is required for check-in. 3.Please note we do have a 48 hour cancellation policy. 4.Regular check-in time is between 16.00pm and 21.00pm. Check-in between 21.00pm and 22.00pm is by reservation only. If you're arriving late, please try and let us know your approximate arrival time (email us at info@digbyhostel.com or call at 902-245-4573) so we can make sure to wait up. Since we do a lot of the work ourselves it is physically impossible for us to wait up until midnight every evening 'just in case someone turns up'. We're happy to wait for you, just let us know you're coming! If you can't make it for any reason, please also let us know so we don't end up waiting up for you until the middle of the night! 5. Just to make clear: No personal bedding or sleeping bags allowed, we have limited parking onsite (and there is plenty of free parking right nearby as well), bathrooms are shared, we expect EVERYBODY to please clean up after themselves (and dish soap is not optional!), and just share the space and be respectful of other guests. 6. Check-out is at 10.30am. If you need longer, please ask us to make sure that is ok. We're pretty easy going and don't mind later check-outs, but just be aware that we do need the time to prepare for the new arrivals of that day so keep it within reason. Anybody checking out late without contacting us first CAN be charged for the extra night. We're pretty reasonable, but we simply cannot rent out a bed/room when we don't have time to clean and prepare them for the next guests. We are very sorry to have to write these rules, but please do realize we work very hard to create a place we hope our guests will feel at home in, we need your help to keep it that way. Running a hostel, especially in a small town in Nova Scotia, is not some 'get rich quick' scheme so please realize that we're doing this because we love it. We love meeting people, we love welcoming the world on our doorstep and we love sharing our beautiful area with our guests. Please try and be considerate of this and help us so we can continue to do what we love and offer a quality place to stay for years to come! For any questions you can reach us at (902) 245-4573 or info@digbyhostel.com
